The National Audio Audio Show 2016 - Whittlebury Hall
We were in Syndicate 28 this year which was a slightly bigger room than the previous year. We decided to go with some different decor and had snazzy new banners, contemporary looking plants and mood lighting to give the room a nice relaxing atmosphere.
Our hifi system comprised of :- Eminent Technology LFT8b Hybrid Ribbon Speakers, Pair Atsah 500 class D Mono block amplifiers (Acousticimagery), Beresford Dac, Logitec Classic Squeezebox.

Early hours of setting up there was a lot of this going on.

At first, we set up a vinyl based system, but had earthing issues, and decided to keep it simple, and just play digital files, so after all the fuss with setting up the turntable, we stripped it all out again...
We had to carefully place foam bass traps and acoustic panels around the room, as we had a bad node in the room around 50z.
It was worth the effort, as we had a great sound in the end....

We think the Atsah 500 Amplifiers and Eminent Technology LFT8b speakers are a match made in heaven.

We also took along a very nice condition Grey Garrard 301 with SME tonearm as a centre piece (pictured below). You know we love our vintage hifi!!

What else was at the show?
When we finally managed to sneak away to see the rest of the show, here is what we saw. There were also a few more vintage pieces spotted here and there which was nice to see.
