Steve & Sarah's Home System
Well, here is what the Hangar's owners, Steve & Sarah run at home...
Steve's beloved Snell E's on AudioNote stands (no, they are not for sale!!)
A pair of Mullard 520 1950's Valve monoblock amplifiers, restored by Mike Pointer
Hifi Hangar PSA-01 Prototype Passive preamp.
Whatever Turntable is knocking about at the time... in this case, John Ryland's 40Kilo concrete and steel Prototype.
Pioneer PD-30 SACD Player (not pictured)
Records are kept in the designer trunks next the system, available from TK Max and The Range!
Cables are laid under the concrete and up through the wall into banana sockets behind the rack and speakers.
So no visible cables, allowing the system to be housed under the stairs, at the opposite end of the room from the speakers.
the idea was to integrate a largish system into a lounge without making it the main focus, living room and hifi in perfect harmony!

The Transcriptors Reference and Meridian Gear came from us, he has been a long term customer of ours, and he was our first customer in our first shop, and even bought from us when we ran our business from our house!!
We currently have four Mclaren engineers that buy regularly from us!!

She is a professional singer/songwriter and has been after a system for a long time.
She settled for a pair of Elvin Transmission line speakers, a Velleman EL34 Valve amp,
